VACATION HOME „TAURUS”

Vacation home „TAURUS” was given its present Name in 2002. Earlier for over thirty years it had been the property of the Przedsiębiorstwo Spedycji Krajowej ( PSK - Enterprise for Inland Forwarding) with a section in Poznań, later a property of the „SPEDPOL” from Warszawa. The vacation home was built on the site, which since the post – war years belonged to the Szulecki family. It had been known under the name „SPEDPOL” till 2002. It was this place, where the coworkers of the „SPEDPOL” company located in Warszawa could during 12 summer seasons rest. Whole families came from all over the country, from Bydgoszcz, Kraków, Wrocław, Zielona Góra, Gorzów Wlkp., Poznań, etc.. ...to rest here near the sea and to recharge their batteries for the remaining part of a year.

Year after year the vacation home was getting older, the in the 70s built cottages were always less the standards of the XXI. century. They did not have bathrooms, the electrical system was outdated, windows, doors, floors, walls supporting and separating required an annual pre-season deep repairs. The moist sea air and strong winds led to the visible destruction of the cottages.

So we have decided not to spend more money for annual repairs that brought wasting nothing, but to implement a modernization of the vacation home in the true sense of the words and adapt it to meet the growing needs of our guests.

We have started the modernization and adaptation of the vacation home in late 2006 with the laying of water and wastewater and electrical installation.
Now, after the modernization, there are waiting for our guests 12 wooden cottages (from timber of 7 cm thickness), in which 4-7 people can recover. The cottages have each 3 rooms: 2 bedrooms and a living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, and bathroom with shower. A large covered terrace with a bench and a table enables to spend the time outdoors regardless of the weather. The whole area is fenced, with delineated space for parking.

The holiday home is situated directly at the sea, on a promenade and you will bring the way to the sea with a sunshade, a blanket and a sunbed, which are features of the cottages, in 2 minutes behind you. Once you leave the outcome of the vacation home to the sea and turn left, you will come after about 50 m to a guarded beach, where lifeguards have their headquarters, here is also a point of advice for medical assistance.
In 100 m - Distance from the vacation home going south, on the Lotnicza street (ul. Lotnicza) there are shops and catering points. If we go further west along this street, we come to the end of Sianożęty. The asphalt road ends with a loop and then comes the site of an old, by the Russian Army in the 90s abandoned, airport with overgrown runway, access to roads and hangars for the planes. A part of the airport is used by Bałtycki Aeroclub (Baltic Aeroclub), so in summer you can see flying paramotors and light aircraft over the beach.

The center of Ustronie Morskie can be reached in 15 minutes, following the promenade east and Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) is located in a distance of 10 km. From the beach the lighthouse in Kolberg can be seen very well.
Our vacation home enjoys among our guests a good opinion, that it gives in his immediate environment no loud discos or clubs. We recommend this place above all to those, who values salience or are looking for recreation in the countryside together with their small children.
